Social Services
ABQ Health Care for the Homeless offers social services to offer support in accessing services and advocating for the individual. They also offer intensive case management available for individuals with severe mental health and/or substance use disorders. Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers
The Albuquerque Housing Authority administers the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program (HCVP) program. The HCVP program is the federal government's major program for assisting very low-income families, the elderly, and the disabled with decent, safe, sanitary and affordable housing in the private market. This program provides: - Vouchers to help pay for housing There is a current waitlist while pre-applications are being accepted. Pre-applications must be filled out online, not in paper format. Albuquerque Housing Authority has free kiosks available to complete your pre-application. These terminals are available by appointment only, please call 505-764-3953 or email update@abqha.org to schedule. Walk-ins will not be accepted.
Clothing and Food Giveaway
The food pantry provides quality food items and clothing to households in need in the local community. This program provides: - Food to meet basic nutritional needs They are open every 3rd Tuesday of the month at 10 a.m. Please call before visiting the church to confirm availability.
Housing Counseling
Bilingual housing counselors identify homeownership opportunities for first-time, low-income homebuyers. They work with you to develop a personal plan toward homeownership that starts with pre-purchase guidance. Pre-purchase counseling enables you as a future homeowner to determine if you are ready to purchase a home. If you qualify, they can also help you obtain grants toward your home purchase. Observation & Assessment Program
Serves as a crisis stabilization unit that provides supportive outpatient therapy for up to 23 hours 59 minutes. O&A is a community crisis respite center that provides a mix of stabilization and peer-provided services. The program accepts voluntary participants through walk-ins, as well as referrals from law enforcement and first responders who meet social model criteria for observation.
Food Bank
The Food Bank of Bethany Baptist Church provides bags of USDA foods combined with name-brand food items to individuals and families on the second Friday of each month. This program provides: - Food to meet basic nutritional needs Please call for more information on hours of operation.

Food Is Medicine Pantry
In partnership with Community Care Food and Clothing Pantry, CAMcare offers free emergency food assistance onsite through a mini food market-like pantry at its flagship site in Camden. Patients seen by CAMcare Health providers will receive immediate food assistance during their health visit. This program provides: - Food to meet basic nutritional needs

Here at Camden City Independent Living Center (CCILC), we assist individuals with disabilities and their family in locating and accessing resources which will be helpful to them in developing their abilities for living independently in the community. Services provided: - Information/Referral - One-on-one support - Navigating the system
Advocacy
CCILC offers Case Management and Advocacy for eligible disabled residents who are in need of assistance applying for or accessing community support services (must have a documented disability to be eligible). This program provides: - Advocacy - Help to applying for governmental services such as social security, and disability assistance - Help Navigating the System If found to be eligible, you will be scheduled for an appointment to fill out Camden City Independent Living Center's intake form as well as any other documents related to your goals, which Camden City Independent Living will assist with. They will send out completed paperwork and provide follow up assistance. Notes: Summer Hours: Monday-Thursday, 9am - 3pm

CCILC facilitates support groups for our consumers with disabilities. Peer Support is an opportunity for individuals with disabilities to learn from others who have had similar experiences. Services provided: - Peer support - One-on-one support - Substance abuse counseling
Urban Women's Center
The Urban Women's Center provides a place where women can receive assistance with their problems and concerns. Women also can acquire employment and computer training with several other comprehensive services. This program provides: - Supportive housing programs, including an apartment building consisting of self-contained units for women with children - Housing and assistance women with alcohol and/or drug addiction and women seeking assistance from abusive relationships - Workshops and classes for finding and keeping employment, computer classes, GED and literacy, and more - Job placement assistance - Case management - Counseling In essence, the Center brings urban women's issues to the forefront in the form of workshops and informative, monthly newsletters. Topics relate to the basic survival of women who are the growing majority of head-of-households in Camden County. In the ever-changing welfare reform environment, the Center provides a place where women's issues and concerns are heard. Through the Job Readiness Program and many other comprehensive services offered through the Center, women are trained for employment. Job placement assistance is available for job-ready women. Literacy and GED classes as well as a Women's Support Group are also available. The Center includes a free computer training program for women seeking to learn or enhance their computer skills. Other services include case management, counseling and training for a variety of traditional and non-traditional work skills. Women interested in this program must have experienced homelessness 3-4 time, and will be required to show proof of homelessness. A screening form must be completed by all applicants. After the screening application has been reviewed, someone will call the patient to notify them of their status. If they are eligible to receive assistance, a staff member will set up an appointment. Please bring all the required documents to the scheduled appointment to complete the process. Please note that you can also come into our Camden offices to complete the screening form.

Camden Dream Center's food pantry serves everyone from low income families, single parents, senior citizens, unemployed individuals, disabled veterans, working poor, and anyone else in need of assistance. Meal Program
Cathedral Kitchen (CK) serves nutritious meals that consists of a protein, vegetable and/or salad, side dish, a beverage and a dessert. During each meal service, CK provides a “take home” bag that contains additional food.
Substance Use Prevention
Catholic Charities of South Jersey offers a variety of services intended to assist families and individual struggling with Substance Use Disorder and also attempts to prevent use in youth. This program provides: - Family Strengthening Programs - Educating Seniors on substance use, abuse, misuse. Specifically related to prescribed pain medication, alcohol, marijuana, and nicotine - A warm line for referrals and information - A variety of parish-based programs
Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF)
The SSVF (Supportive Services for Veteran Families) mission is to prevent and end veteran homelessness by providing rapid access to housing, case management, and supportive services, aiming for a future where homelessness for veterans is rare, brief, and non-recurring. This program provides: - Case management - Rental assistance - Help paying for security deposits - Help paying utilities and utility deposits - Assistance with healthcare benefits - Rehabilitation (substance abuse and recovery) - Life skills - Money management - Transportation
Refugee Resettlement Services
